Miss Seattle 2018 – Raechel Warren
Raechel is a 21-year-old senior at Seattle University, majoring in Economics with a minor in business administration. Along with attending school full time, she works in the University’s athletics department with the external affairs and Marketing team. Her job consists of a host of activities, including interacting with student athletes, coaches, and corporate partners, graphic design, planning events, and creating marketing plans. Her educational and career goals include attending law school to obtain her JD in Healthcare Law and eventually joining a hospital’s legal counsel. Choosing to end her collegiate soccer career three years ago propelled her pursuit of the crown. She decided to try something new, and earn scholarship money, by competing for her first local title in her hometown of Roseburg, Oregon. Now calling the state of Washington, and the city of Seattle home for the last two years, she wanted the chance to represent what she feels is “the best city in the world” and vie for the title of Miss Washington 2018. Raechel is excited to work with the youth of King County and hopes to be as involved as possible throughout her community. Her talent is artistic roller skating, something she has done competitively since the age of three. She is able to use her passion for the sport to help promote her platform, ‘Encouraging Youth to Discover their Passions and Purpose.’ She can’t wait to get started serving Seattle, and as an avid sports fan, she hopes to attend a Mariner’s game and meet Mariner Moose during her year of service!
